IT IS OKAY
In the labyrinth of life, we often tread,
facing trials, feeling alone, and shedding tears.
But hear me now, in these words I say,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
When death's cold hand steals a loved one's breath,
leaving us broken and questioning life's depth,
remember, dear heart, in the light of day,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
Financial storms may rage, leaving us bare,
job loss and unemployment burdens hard to bear,
hold on tight, don't let hope sway,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
The pressure to rise, to be at the peak,
striving for perfection, feeling weak,
take a breath, find your way,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
Discrimination's sting, a bitter pill to swallow,
facing hatred and prejudice in a world that's hollow,
stand tall, let your light display,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
We walk this path, uncertain and blind,
each carrying burdens of a different kind,
but know this truth in every way,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
Take heart, stay strong, let hope guide your way,
in the darkest nights, it'll be your ray,
for we cross paths, not knowing what others weigh,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
So let these words echo, in your heart, they'll stay,
through every trial, come what may,
you're not alone, don't be led astray,
it's okay, my friend, it's okay.
